Hey, so i got a thinking there while watching a rugby match on BBC Saturday, are those stations (BBC, ITV, Sky, Channel 4 etc.) classed as British or English? I know that BBC & ITV have regional variants but when you watch anything (esp. sport) it's very much English dominated...

For example BBC were showing Wales v Argentina rugby, they spent the last 5 or 10 minutes talking about the English match on later that night, seemed to be more important...

Sky are the same, all their sports seem to be centred around the English national teams, not the British teams (despite the company being British Sky Broadcasting... )

It seems to me that all the british channels view themselves as English, is this just me being cynical or what?

    Opinions?

    Well I'd say there British.

They nearly all have variants BBC NI, S4 (channel 4 wales i think)

So since England is the biggest country it's probably English driven but the Channels themselves would be British

Yep. Cynical, and looking for something to moan about IMO

Vast majority of British are English so only natural they get more attention
