Are you talking about Ireland or abroad ?.

In Ireland there are a number of these types of resorts opening up in the Midlands, old country estates being converted into hotels with golf courses and spas.

I have never been but you do hear adds for the likes of The Heritage in Killinard Co. Laois or the Lyrath estate in kilkenny, I'm sure there are a few more dotted around too.

Egypt is fantastic but will cost a little bit more than the EUR 700 mark! How about somewhere in the Carribean , could get an all-inclusive deal if you had a good look around!

I'd hold off on the Caribbean until November, unless you like hurricanes ;)

    True!

I'm supposed to be heading to Mexico next month but I think the holiday shall be forefitted for a last minute deal on the continent!

I recently went to Cyprus was really great. Stayed in Pafos for a few days and then in Limassol. Was at the Elysium in Pafos, was truly magnificent. In Limassol was at Le Meridien Limassol Spa Resort. Excellent pampering. Really good weather nicely hot in October I'm told.
