Hi, I wonder if anyone else here has experienced this - a mate cannot update his 360. He is connected to the net etc. The 360 connects to live and downloads the update (the bar moves across till full) but the screen goes black and then a message says the update has failed. Hi,

Try and do it manually by downloading the update from the xbox.com website. I posted the link in the topic just below this one
