that looks like a good price..
when you say USB - can I use a mp3 hard drive or my ipod?
does the files be located on the root folder of the usb drive?

It seems to say USB in on the Power City ad, so I'd imagine it's for connecting things like mp3 players, which is pretty handy.

It could be that you can use it as a speaker system for your PC too - I have a Philips system that does that. They're both decent features to have.

    Not bad for €60!

    The manual is available here:

Be careful connecting to PC. The manual says:
"Never try to connect this micro system with your PC through a USB cable to avoid any possible damage!"

It doesn't seem possible to connect iPod to it, manual doesn't seem to make a big deal about it if it is possible! Seems to play back non-DRM files only:
"This micro system is designed for playback of digital music formats MP3 and WMA only and does not support WMA-DRM, AAC, WAV, M4a, M4b etc."
The drive must be FAT formatted too.

However, for this price it does seem a bargain!

I've only used the USB feature to play tracks from my memory stick.

Not bad, but not great. It is just a micro system, with 2 x 4 W RMS output.

I would not recommend this to audiophiles. The bass reproduction is not very impressive. The 2 I bought are for someone who doesn't care for loud music or bass for use in the kitchen and in a bedroom.

For the price, though, they are excellent unless bass is really important to you. In which case you should probably pass on this model.

    P.s. I like bass. :)

I can't believe they still haven't sorted out that website - it's appalling!

By the way it has an Aux in so you can hook whatever you like up to it.
