    Hi Mick,

The USKF have a club in Blanch (Coolmine Sports Complex):

    http://uskf.org/Default.aspx?tabid=13199

The instructor is Dave Royale - who I've been told is an excellent Black Belt.

If your open to other styles, a friend of mine has started teaching kickboxing
in Verona Sports Hall (near the town center). His name is Robert Mcmenamy. Training focuses on Semi-Contact Kickboxing and Self-Defense.

Heres a link to his Site (Its still a work in progress):

    www.spartan.ie

    Hope this helps.

    Karl

I know Dave Royale personally, he's a sound bloke. My brother trained along side him under Jerry Kane in corduff, were they both got their black belts. He is a good bloke to train under and has a good club record.

For an alternative type of Karate, try Kantanni Karate-Do in the Coolmine Sports Complex in Blanchardstown.

    Hi,
David Royle here. I do have a club in Blanchardstown. It is located in the new Corduff Sports Complex, Dublin 15. Club times are Tuesdays and Thursdays 6pm to 7:30pm. I have been teaching karate for 20years altogether. New members are always welcome so feel free to drop down to the club. Thanks.

Theres shotokan clubs all over blanch. In roselawn in the school and in hartstown school. the kantanni karate do club in coolmine is excellent. its were i started off and it gave me a real good grounding in martial arts. im more into mma and stuff now but they do teach decent sparring and some good self defence stuff.

Yeah....I a bit late on this one. But just in case anyone googles this....I think that they should defo try Kantanni. I live in Wexford now and train in mma but I think Kantanni gives a real good grounding especially in the close quarter area and sparring. And the starting warm up is still one of the best around.
