Linking Computer to t.v

What cable do I need to link my computer to my tv. I guess I need something to go into the video out, but what is it called. Can I connect it to the scart on the back of the tv, or do I need a new tv.

If the TV has a VGA input just plug your VGA cable in there instead of into your monitor. If not then, I'm not sure but someone else will know.
