Channel 4 are starting a "+1" hour delayed service from tomorrow. Its going to be on channel 135 on Sky. Does anyone know what exact frequency it will be on? 12.168V with the original Channel 4 variations or 10.729V with Film Four? I would guess it will be FTV (card needed) not FTA as well. More details here:

Is 135 the number on the Irish EPG as well? All the information there seems to be related to the English numbering. It doesn't make much sense to me that the +1 will be 5 channels ahead of the live stream.

Oh great, so now we get to see the blocked programmes twice?

I'd doubt if C4+1 will be available on Irish EPG. Handy if it is.

Considering they swapped More4 and Channel 4 on the Irish EPG, there is nothing to stop them putting Channel 4 on 135 and +1 somewhere else.

Nothing blocked on a FTV card so your point is invalid.

I'd be surprised if it doesn't appear. The tests are available.

As far as I know FILM 4 +1 will be suspended and CH4+1 will take its place, a stupid move in my opinion.

No, Film4+1 is only to be removed on Freeview, as far as I know.

This is happening on Freeview, not satellite.

I heard that channel 4+1 was taking over from More4 +1... Also, the channel 4 channels (E4, C4) are moving down a bit on the EPG, to where those stoopid life channels are, and the life channels are moving to like the 800s or somewhere like that...

That's what i've heard, can anyone confirm?

it's happening on sat too isn't it? so the point above about blocked progs is very valid.

Makes much more sense than how they had it.

The point I was making is that blocked programmes wont affect everyone.

I can only imagine that it has been covered here previously but can anyone explain why Channel 4 has the occasional programme blocked on the sky package?
