They have EBBs(Electric Blow-Back) which suck in the first place for $19. They seem to be very cheap. Fun for plinking but 190fps just wont do.

I wouldn't buy it myself simply for the fact that it's being sold from a shop in Tallaght which more than likely doesn't have airsofts best interests in mind.

Try not to give places like this business.

thrust me i wont be buying from any where other than Eirsoft ,this place is selling them to 13/14 years old ,which i dont think is a good idea at all , surely shops have to cop on and take some advice on selling these toys to kids ,its bad for the sport

    Anger, rising

I think we may have to start a "List the shops selling crappy springers and AEPs to children" thread

Unfortunately the vast majority of shops won't care less about the sport. They are simple worried about their profit margin, the best way to stop shops selling these things to kids is to make them realise that they won't make money.

Stand in the shop and if a kid is about to buy one ask the teller if they have taking the kids name and address, asked for ID or have proof of parental consent. I'll bet that 9 times out of 10 the kid will just leave.

If you see little Timmy down the road playing with one, go tell his parents, and tell them were he got it too. Nothing will get a shop to change their mind about a product quicker than a mob of angry/concerned parents.

Of course that could backfire and get airsoft banned so it would be something to attempt very very cautiously.

,as most people will probably know parents buys these things for there kids and are the first to say mind your own business its only a toy,and yes when little timmy ends up blind its everybody elses fault ,and ban the sport, this is way off topic , but look at 18s rated games and films parents buy them for 6 year olds ,thrust me a couple of weeks ago i was hit with a steel bb fired by a 12yo who's mammy thought it was the funnyist thing she ever seen ,  , having a list of shop that sells airsoft guns to 12-14 years olds could cause more problems than its worth ,ie legal issues and also its giving the information as to where these pistols are easily bought ,we would be sending them business,

I realise that mammy and daddy may not take what you say to heart but all we can do is try.

There is actually no law that could stop us from compiling a list of shops that sell airsoft devices and if we felt it was creating business for them we could very easily just create the list and not publish it online. Im sure Dave wouldn't mind creating a new email address on the IAA.com site that people could send the information to.

sounds like a good idea ,law wise makeing a public statement the a named shop is selling airsoft to kids with out parents consent is a bad idea, with liable laws and all that

Its only liable if it can't be proven :D
