    just, wondering, archos have refused to fix my archos 504 despite it still being under warranty, so I'm wondering, How much would it cost to get it repaired elsewhere?
    the 80gb hdd is broken

    Chris got a reply today, I'm dealing with it, they still want you to pay but i'm trying to sort it out.

    AFAIK archos lock their HDD's so it can only be replaced by them, sorta boarderline illegal i think.
