Dose the Vatican have that "big computer"?

Jack Chick once claimed in one of his tracks that the Catholic Church kept the name of every Protestant church member in the world in a "big computer" in the Vatican for use in future persecutions. Could there be truth in this matter that the Vatican has this "big computer"?.

How is the article you linked to even remotely connected to your wild assertion that the Vatican are running a high level CIA/MI5 level of tracking families and creeds?

In fairness, I don't think it would take that big of a computer to store a load of names.

Anything I've seen by Jack Chick has left me in tears of laughter. He needs urgent professional help for those delusions of his. I'd treat his talk of giant computer with equal scorn.

I would have a guess that that tract was written back in the 70ies when a large server would have taken up the space of a room. You would fit all that stuff on a laptop now!.

You could fit it all on a piece of memory smaller than your smallest nail.

The CIA and the Vatican do have something in common, both of them were caught with their pants down censoring the Wikipedia with their "Big" computers.

Are you seriously trying to find a logical explanation for a Jack Chick theory?

I would believe that the RC would have a digital record of every baptised Catholic in the world from each diocese, This collective figure as they claim would be well in access of one billion or one in six of the worlds population. These records would be kept on file for marital and bereavement purposes for members within in the Church.

On the other hand Independant churches would not be inclined to keep such records or any at all with the exception of the more established churches. I would have my reservations on Jack Chicks theory unless the Catholic Church keeps track of those like myself who have left the Catholic Church.

You realise that you're saying this through a website created by gamers (and hence according to Chick, Satanists involved in a conspiracy with Catholics, Wiccans and Freemasons). Surely if you take Chick seriously you're just playing into the conspiracy's plans by posting.

Of course, according to Chick I'm in the conspiracy too. I suppose when he says that everyone is out to get him, there's no one left to talk sense into him.

You have give him some credit, he managed to shrink the 3 hour Titanic movie down to just 8 minutes and 15 seconds and still retain much of the cast! http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=XgzdNM7k0fQ

I would be very impressed if the Vatican was able to discover the names of all the Protestants worshipping in unregistered churches in secret in China.

Jack Chick is full of it.

Well, in fairness, there were only about two minutes of that film that were actually worth watching.

I have a friend who works in the department of foreign affairs. If he edits a Wikipedia article in work (as he has done), it shows up as coming from a department of foreign affairs ISP. Does that mean that the department is (gasp) editing Wikipedia articles for their own good?!

    Er, no.

I could foresee state and corporate offices blocking the editing facility of Wikipedia for fear of being exposed in future. So in this case if the Vatican intends to fiddle with the Wikipedia again it would be advisable just to send a priest down to the local internet cafe.

Chick is out of date on this one.

Story I heard is that the Vatican has been adding some special stuff to communion wafers for years which makes people immune to the plague that the Pope and his top scientists (all evolutionists) are brewing up in a special bioweapons facility deep under St Peter's. The antidote is supposed to wear off quickly, so anybody who hasn't had communion in the last few months won't be saved. Seems it didn't take long for the Vatican to twig this was a much better way of doing away with non-catholics than going around tattooing "666" on everybody or revoking trading licenses.

Maybe this is a false flag operation to make it look like Vatican staff are editing Wikipedia pages.

Or a double false flag operation. Vatican staff throwing us off the scent with the suggestion of a false flag operation, when in fact they themselves were indeed responsible.

Looks like he was the one doing all the Wikipedia edits. Well done, mystery solved.

I'm locking this as it's relevance to this forum is questionable. Also, it's a resurrection of a five-year old thread about a Jack Chick tract.
