    Hi all,

I've had a car ad up on CBG,Autotrader and Carzone and it's not selling even though it's below the recommended average price. It's a 2003 Almera and Windsor(who I bought it from) don't buy them back. I don't really want to go the car auction route so if anyone has sold a car to a garage directly before I'd appreciate any recommendations.

    Thanks!

If your selling it to a dealer then prepare to be shafted. They will only give you a fraction of it's market value.

Try putting it up on www.adverts.ie. Also make sure the car is not overpriced and you have some good photos of it taken, ie. with a nice background, bright dry day and the car is washed. It gives a potential buyer a good first impression and doesn't put them off. Also generally if it is priced realistically it will generate interest.

thanks Bazz. The thing is that it's very reasonably priced when compared to others. I've about 6 photos up which were taken on the one sunny day of the year we had and the car is in great condition. I'll give adverts.ie a go but again if anyone else has had a good dealing with a garage when selling back your car, recommendations would be much appreciated.

waldo -do you mean the website address?? it's www.carzone.ie and to access you're own editing page it www.carzone.ie/my
