Buying first car

    Hi, I hope to buy my first car in a week or 2.

    I need to know what things should I ask the seller. I'll be getting a mechanic
    to give it a proper looking over but I just want to know what initial details I should get.

    The items I have are:

    1. Check if Timing belt has been changed.
    2. Check NCT.
    3. Service history.
    4. Mileage - I'm thinking of going for a '00 - what mileage should I expect for this year?

    Is there anything else I can add to this list?

    Has it been crashed?
    How many owners?

    Mileage on average is 12,000 a year apparently. I drive a 99 and I just hit 90k today, I got it almost 2 years ago and there was 65k on it.
