Hi! Suddenly I've become interested in one question. What is your biggest pet peeves? As for me, I don't like rudeness concerning servers, when clients think that if they pay money, they can do everything with waiters or serving personnel. What about you?

I agree with you about the rudeness. Our manners have gone out the windows. I've come across way too many rude shop assistants/waiting staff. Now, I don't want them to do the whole American "Have a nice day" thing but it would be nice not to think that I'm something rancid the cat has just dragged in.

Not holding a door open for you and spitting in public. My cousin is full time spitting cause he smokes and it's just embarrassing.

I agree with rudeness of shop assistants. Yesterday I was choosing one CD for gift, and there was so cute manager that I bought TWO Cds instead of one (one for me and one for gift) :D
But today I've faced with rudeness not from clients but shop assistants. I was choosing some cloths for me and entered the shop where one client was already choosing smth. The shop assistant didn't pay any attention on me while the previous client was wearing cloths, he was only near that client completely ignoring others. Maybe shop owners should pay more attention on the staff and their manners.

    Hi.
I've suddenly become interested in why you chose to include that (now edited) link in both posts you have made on boards.ie.
I find it quite rude that you have chosen to advertise on this site without paying for the privelege.

In my work place I look after the switch board a lot and it reeeeally p1sses me off when people ring solely looking for a particular persons phone number and when I go to give it they say "can you hold on till I find a pen?" :(

FFS.. You ring looking for a number and you don't have a pen ready?? I know it sounds peti but when its happening all the time and you have a busy switchboard it gets bloody annoying..

I find tardiness quite disagreeable in my day-to-day social encounters with the great unwashed.
