Networking Engineer CCNA

    I am looking for a Networking Engineer based in West Dublin. Responsibilities include support and development activities that span a wide breadth and depth of technologies, including IP network services, security, storage systems, database and systems administration, design and process documentation, project management, helpdesk duties and facilities management

    Skills:

    • Very Strong technical background –Degree in computer Science / minimum CCNA
    • Expert knowledge of all Windows NT, 2000, 2003 Server administration, Linux/ UNIX, Solaris (Minimum 5-6 years). MCSE minimum.
    • Sound knowledge of networking technologies including LAN, WAN, DNS, WINS, DHCP, SSL, Perl.
    • Practical knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
    • Practical experience of the various levels of host hardening
    • Practical knowledge of Visio, Powerpoint
    • Knowledge of any of the following technologies whilst not obligatory would be a distinct advantage Cisco Switching/Routing/PIX, Checkpoint AI.

    Not to nitpick but that's NOT a Networking Engineer role. It's a Systems Engineer/IT Administrator position.

    Judging by the breadth of experience required I'd warrant a salary of 45-50k would be about right... anyway isn't there rules on this board about random recruitment agency postings/spam?
