Rubber Hop ups and M4 with blowback

Does anyone know how many rounds it would to wear out
your average piece of hop up rubber.

Was looking at Airsoft guide volume2 last night and they showed dis-assembly
of a hop up unit. And mentioned how they may need to be replaced at some stage.

Also on the footage shown there is a bloke firing an M4 and it appears
to have a blow back feature or at least an artificial bolt like object that
looks neat. Anyone know what makes do this or have this feature
and what they would cost (I want one!!)

I always thought the M4 was closed bolt with no obvious moving parts externally.

Dont want to be breaking copyright or anything but hopefully a snaphot
of just 2 frames will be ok.

M4/M16/armalite type Airsoft that yer man is using on the snapshots
appears to have a kick back as there is slight recoil when he fires
it on the DVD. When he fires something that looks like a bolt moves
back and fourth at high speed. Gearbox Piston for the chamber possibly?
Still green when it comes to the mechanics of airsoft......
