i've been pretty nitty since moving back up, not firing many double barrels, we haven't had any bvb confrontations before this, i open folded a few times, raised once and folded to a 3bet, my table image is fairly tight.

he's a standard tag fish, 20/12/1.4

i try to avoid firing three barrells out of position wherever possible,especially against an opponent this passive.

also,as bops pointed out,your line doesn't add up.somewhere between the turn and the river the hand you are representing changes,which can't be good.

i suppose so but i don't think fish are really thinking like that

i think when you bet big on that river the average player is only trying to think about whether you have a six or not

in fact this is one of the reasons why there is value in bet/folding overpairs and so on here

i agree, this is really spewtastic, you have signalled your hand pre flop (in most situations) with your raise with two overs and betting out on this flop when it comes low. I have noticed if any fish has a piece or draw on low flop they find it hard to let it go.

This doesn't make a whole lot of sense, obviously a raise and c bet has high cards in the range, and obviously a fish by definition doesn't fold that much. That misses the point though, and anyway 20/12/1.4 isn't a fish

I don't see why you can't have a 6, I could definitely play 56 67 66 A6 like this, maybe other 6s as well. That said you could be getting called by any T+.

I think an Ace Rag merchant calls a PF raise from BB and continues to call pot size bets on a raggy flop and turn and possibly the river with A3, A4, A5, (obv buggerd with A6)

If he raised your river bet here, what line would you take?
