    well at least the councillor admitted they were targeting the dogs not the owners and said it was a small minority of scumbags that use them for intimidation.

    I feel for anyone who's child or themselves has been a victim for a dog attack. I can't imagine how upset or scared they would be of dogs, perhaps for the rest of their lives. But banning these breeds isn't the answer. If fariness, a small dog, like a Jack Russell, could attack depending on it's experiences. Stricter leash laws are required here. Any dogs roaming the streets should be taken off. Also, people should have to go through education classes for these breeds if they own one. But there's no sense in the destruction of dogs, when many do have loving and caring homes
