    Dear All,
I have an oldish blue 5kg butane cylinder which is the only type that fits neatly into the floor of my 1990 ford autosleeper flair, but which is proving difficult to get refilled. One place said that the piece attached to the cylinder head is one that is usually on propane cylinders. I'm really not sure what that means but it runs into a 28bar regulator (i.e. butane).
Does anyone know where i might get this cylinder filled dublin/kildare/meath region.
    many thanks in advance

Try a marine shop. They do cater for some of these. In Kildare I think there might be a shop in Robertstown down by the canal. Also try the Calor website www.calor.ie, one of their links connects to http://www.caravanning-online.co.uk/ which will give you an idea on what thanks are currently available.

There is a guy called Pollard between Cahir & Clonmel that sells and services forklifts and he does fill various types of gas.

He is based almost directly across the road from The Apple Farm in Moorstown,Cahir,Co. Tipperary which incidentally is meant to be a nice campsite as well. Do not have number to hand but try 11850.

    Regards,

    Thanks All,
I found a campsite that has these small tanks. It is in Enniscrone co sligo (?Inishcrone?) if anybody is stuck.
    :)
