    Hey guys.

Im a moderator on a forum and one of our most recent competitions involved allowing forum members to vote on their favourite submission.

We had to wittle it down to 10 submissions because of the limitations of the php forum stuff we use.

Would it be possible that there is a site which lets you set up (IP address) polls for free?

    Thanks

If its very specific that you what you might consider getting someone to write the voting/polling system for yourself. I had to do it myself for http://www.dublinnites.ie/v/rs_desc.php?id=67.

I've just started messing around with Ajax myself thanks to cgarvey for pointing me in the right direction. There's a useful polling option that is very easy to set up too:
    http://www.w3schools.com/php/php_ajax_poll.asp
    Works very well for me!

Basing it on IP isn't as good as basing it on username if its going to be for forum members only.

I agree. Unfortunatly none of the mods, including myself, know much about this php stuff. :o
