Selling your stuff? Why?

After seeing Voodoomelon put that beautiful 1911 up for sale, I have to ask, what possible reasons could people have for selling their gear? Are you bored of it already? Is that particular piece just not suited for you?

I sold my Famas last week as not only did I need money for my new AEG, I was never overly fond of it. The ROF was great, but looks wise I wanted something more unique and...metal.

Strangely enough, last year I wouldn't have even considered selling any. Now I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of the bolty to buy a new (working) pistol.

The main reason i'm selling is because I essentially have no money! A couple of hundred euro to my name, just finished college after 6 years and I need/want a car and need insurance money.

Whenever my IT career gets on the tracks, i'd gladly buy back 2 of those 1911-A1s and stick them on the wall.

I sold my Glock 18c to Liamo because it wasn't
getting used at all.
I was bringing it to HRTA every week
and it was left sitting in my bag.
Liamo is getting use out of it
so it was worthwhile selling.

to be completly honest don't think i would sell any of my Tm stuff cuz it took ages to decide on it.

Most of the clones i have where kinda bought on a whim, so can't really see myself getting attached too much to any of them.

Just to let you know that the JG M16A1 isn't a true A1 or vietnam era. its simply an m16a2 with a triangular fore end. so the reciever flash hider and a few other bits are different.

whoa... thats an interesting question here

i think i enjoy working on replicas (doing custom, upgrades...) just as much as skirmishing itself, so ive owned, modified, and sold afterward quite many replicas, and sometimes on friend's requests, too.
as for the replicas i use to skirmish, i guess i like to vary pleasures sometimes
