Right, just wondering what the deal is with those sound hole blockers... dunno what the proper name for them is, but they're the rubber stoppers you put into an acoustic guitar's soundhole.
Just wondering what sort of effect it would have on the live sound of the electro acoustic guitar, I know it majorly cuts down on feedback from monitors etc but does it kinda kill the sound the audience hears?

They're intended for use with amplified acoustic guitars to help control excessive feedback. Unless you're only using a mic on the guitar it shouldn't make much of a difference in the sound the audience hears. TBH, I think they'll be happier not being deafened by feedback :)

I use a piezo pick-up blended with an internal goosehead mic, though I normally have to shut the mic off without the soundhole plug as it feedbacks like crazy, so the sound the audience hears shouldn't be any differant if I'm just using a piezo? Might have to lash the aul rubber stopper in in that case.

Well if the mic is internal I wouldnt see any reason why you couldnt still use the mic and piezo with the soundhole cover? :)
