eh... the world heavyweight one i bought at wrestlemania 23,cost 180 quid, the other 2 i bought on ebay,paid 100 for the attitude belt (guy didnt know what he was selling as worth at least twice that) and the undisputed for 120, the only other one i want is the old intercontinental and maybe the winged eagle

id only ever sell them if i was going for a deluxe one, they have real leather straps, the strap on the wwf attitude one is a lot bendier than the other,the undisputed one doesnt bend very well theyre not as flexible as the ones you see on tv,look the job though

For me it was Austins smoking skull belt, looked an absolute smasher, and the storyline it was involved in was what the Attitude Era was all about.

im not a fan of personalised belts tbh,no wrestler should be bigger than the title and making their own version just cheapens it,but the smoking skull one is the best of the personalised ones

I personally like the IC belt with the white leather as worn by HBK. I think it looks pretty slick!

I think its cool too. I used to like when Warrior would frequently changed the strap colour. Blue, yellow etc.

I think they should never have changed the winged eagle belt at all. I agree that changing a belts look takes away some of the prestige. It would mean so much more if todays world champ was wearing the same belt as Hogan,Bret, Savage etc. For me the lineage is weakened every time the belt design is changed, and all those custom made titles are just an abomination. No wonder wrestling is so hard to take seriously sometimes.......

You do realise that the particular design you're referring to was a change from the original wingled eagle belt from 86-88. It was just more rectangular rather than round.

Just thought I'd post here given the new championship was reveled last night.



Cant say I'm a big fan of it. Looks like they just threw the old spinner belt and old light heavyweight belt together.





Still prefer the Attitude belt

I'm not sure if people are subconsciously negative towards the spinner belt because of it's association with John Cena, but I would hazard a guess and say if you showed a few non wrestling fans those photos, the spinner belt might come out favourably on top. Looks more glitzy and glamorous than the others.

That attitude era belt looks weird because it says World Wrestling Federation, yet the logo has been changed to the WWE logo.

I actually think the new belt looks okay. Still an overly "bling-ed" belt, but definitely an improvement on the spinner. But yeah, The Attitude Era circular belt will probably always be my favourite, likely because it was the one when I started watching wrestling, plus it looks great anyway. Undisputed one wasn't bad either.

But yeah, new one isn't bad. Not great, but not really all that bad.

No nameplate though. Be interesting if they have different sideplates for each champion.
