They usually go for €180 or above and at that price it really is a great graphics card.......

Im pretty sure this a typing error by Dabs as the specs are for an inferior 8600gt(which go for that price €120).....

Worth a try imo....its clearly labeled 8600GTS and if they take your money, there isnt much they can do.....

look at the spec sheet tho - clearly says a GT... You could order it, but I wouldn't be surprised if you got a 8600GT and then what'd you do - complain?
Well that would involve writing emails, calling them, sending product back, and likely getting a refund - not worth the hassle imo :D

Is that a dx10 card, and would it be better than a 7900GS?

Dx10 yes, faster then a 7900GS if its the GTS, which it obviously isn't....

It clearly says 8600GTS,on the dabs page....surely that is false advertising,so at worst I will get a refund :D

its not false advertising. its a mistake in theyre store, not an advert. they might honour the mistake but its not likely

    how good is the GT?

    They aren't new cards...
All used stock has a 90 day warranty
...so that maybe a reason for the cheapness.

The original price posted in the first post is for a new card. What you were reading further down the page were the used cards priced at €100.75

Has anyone taken the plunge yet. This offer seems to good to be true if it is a GTS.I'm looking to build a HTPC,if it is the GTS version would this be a good card to go with? Will be used for gaming too.

The manufacturers part code on that page, below the quicklinx number, refers to an 8600GT everywhere else on the web. 8600gts has nothing over the GT except for higher clock speeds, which the GT will do if you overclock.

You could hardly get a 8600GT to 720/2120mhz like most 8600GTS are clocked at?

Still if you overclock a 8600GT to 660/1700mhz they would be a good card for the €100 ive seen them on the web for.....

I have decided to get a 8800GTS by the way.....

    €250 including shipping

I usually dont go high end but with Call Of Duty 4 just around the corner,I think its the right decision
