    Hi,
I'm in Lackaghbeg/Lackaghbead just outside Claregalway. Our estate has become Bband enabled last week.
I've read a lot of threads about awful service, slow connections/set up etc.
At present we have a landline phone.
I'll be using Bband for music downloading and general surfing.
Can anyone suggest which provider/packages to go for or avoid?

    thanks,
    Patrick.

To be honest, a lot of the DSL providers only resell eircom's broadband services so it's essentially the same thing. Where the providers can really differ is customer support. I went with eircom to have just one bill.
