Saw this guy feeding the birds in Stephens Green over the weekend, had them all over him. It was a nice scene and he didnt mind a few photos being taken, ended up with quite a few people watching but it was a nice break from some of the other people in the park..there are more on my site or my flickr, any comments or feedback welcome as always..

2 & 5 for the win. The third one they look like rats but the 2nd and 5th are great shots - timed very well.

Nice work! The fifth shot is fantastic, the chaos of the birds is captured well. The second shot is great too, intersting perspective and the bird swooping in to land on the left leads the eye up nicely. Great stuff.

The last one is the winner for me. The whole set is fantastic.
I would like to know if you have the side view of the bench with the "birdman" focused and the birds in front a little unfocused.

This is actually my favourite. Were you down on your knees to get that angle?

I love the motion in the wings, it really puts across the chaos of the crowd of birds scrambling for food.

Possibly do, Im really not putting in the effort after I take the shots these days, I sort of mind numbingly rush through them without actually looking properly and its something I definitely need to sort out. My big fear is ending up with loads of unconverted raw files so I bang out whatever with a view to coming back. I have a good few more shots of this guy that I havent really looked at properly yet..

Thanks Julie, down on my knees and lower

I actually prefer the third one, I think there's a very eerie and chaotic quality to it.

I like #5 the best, although I can't decide whether #5 needs more or less vignetting?

I'd be interested in your post-processing for #5...

Thanks again everyone, its mad - the only one that I kind of like is the 4th one, the way the man and the bird are sharing a peaceful stare amongst the mild chaos..

As for the processing, just upped the blacks and contrast in LR and slide the saturation right down along with a little vignette..
