Broken Wii Remote

I am having a few problems with a wii remote lately, every button on it works ok up until you us the swing motion. I have a new second remote which is working fine, so it's not the sensor bar. Is there anything I can do to fix it, or is it for the bin?

    Thanks in advance,
    SpicyNoodle

The controller is part of the bundle therefore also in the warranty. Your best bet is to call the Nintendo helpline in the UK to get their opinion. Any dealings I've had with faulty products with Nintendo have gone very well. I have to say their customer service is definitely the best of any company I've had to deal with.

Thanks for the help, I will get on to them within the next few days. I know why it is not working properly, my dad sort of whacked it off the cabinet and it just stopped working, suppose that's what happens when you whack it off a hard surface hey! Just odd that all the other functions work though.
