Linguaphone 'Let's Talk'

I picked up the linguaphone 'allTalk' Spanish course recently and I'm wondering what peoples opinions on it are.

I'm half-way through the 3rd CD but to be honest I feel like I could do with a book of some sort to accompany the audio course as it's pretty lacking in grammar and a lot of the vocab seems to be more relevant to the storyline than to real life situations.

Any pointers for an absolute beginner?
