Hand 1: Playing .50/1 6 handed, standard of the table is wide to say the least. One other boardie to my left and then 4 other guys who rarely play. 3 are calling station the other is very weak passive. I lost a b.i. to the w/p guy with JJ v TT on a Ten high flop after it was $50, yes 50 pre flop. He is not in this hand though.

anyway i raise to $3.50 UTG, Boardy folds, W/P folds and Loose guy re-raises me. i am playing $160 and he is playing 58$. so 58 effective. Villain has got it all in v boardy with 23o on a 27T6 flop, and also called all ins with A7 on 872 flop v A4 and won. Has recently reloaded to $60.

So anyway i raise to $3.50 he re-raises to $10, i? whats my best line here? sorry i have 77

Hand 2: i limp utg with A4d, 1 limper SB completes and BB checks option.
Flop is Qd7d5h. BB bets $4 into $4 pot.
(BB is pretty passive, he rarely bets with nothing, but often calls with complete air to catch. He will over bet hands like KK to $6 pre flop. so i guess you could say he plays imaginately. He only bluffed one pot all night when he raised a river bet with A2 v Boardie on 3489J board.
Also the boardie bluffed him off a pot earlier, where he made it $6 preflop, with KK he bet the flop and boardy shoved the A turn with NFD, he showed KK face up.)
So anyway i flat call $4??
Turn brings the 9d,giving me the nuts he bets $6 again, whats my best line here?
Sorry effective stacks are c$60 here.
    Thanks, Al

What do you have in hand 1?

I would raise the turn in hand 2, a smallish raise to like 18 so you can shove river.

Folding the nuts in hand 2 would be pretty bad no?

Hand 1: fold pre-flop without more info.
Hand 2: fold pre-flop. flat calling is the worst option here in my opinion raise or fold as you will always face a turn bet. If you raise here will he totally shut down? The $6 is a pretty weak bet. Think for 30 seconds, check your cards, call, cross fingers under table that he leads the river as well.

    Shove hands 1 for value
Raise smallish Hand 2 to keep him interested and shove river.

Hand 1: He just about has enough to justify calling to try hit a set not by much though.

If the loose guy has been really really aggro and been calling all ins really really lightly then shove for value. If he's been loose but generally passive just fold.

10/1 on average for a set on the flop, he will have 20% of effective stacks in preflop so no way there are odds for set value.
