Eircom.net POP connection problem today?

    I'm on BT Broadband and have Outlook 2003 and have got an error message stating that the connection timed out when trying to receive mail. It has been working fine recently anyone else have similar problems this evening?

    It's working ok for me, I'm on BT too. If you're getting a 192.something (I forget the exact range) IP address that'll cause a problem, that range is blocked on the eircom mailservers afaik and you'll get those timeout errors. Disconnect and reconnect till you get a different address (if that is what's happening).
