    Hi,

How much do ye think I'd get for this if I were to sell it:

    1GB RAM
    100GB HD
    OS X 10.4
    iLife '06

That's depreciation for ya :( Mine dropped €1000 in about 10 months.
Nothing worse than cars though, €10000 in 2 years! Not easy having an upgrade addicition you know!

Highend Black MacBook with 2GB Ram upgrade bought in May only €1,080 now, cost me Eur 1,589.00 if I bought it in Ireland.

Thankfully I saved like 400e and bought it in the states :D

That site says €850 but it doesn't take into account the iWork licence, the AppleCare or the Black Tax so it's not that accurate.

    Any other guesses?

850 seems about right although what it's worth and what people look for them are different issues. Buy&Sell has people looking for 1100 for old G4 powerbooks !! As for the software, it's like alloy wheels on cars, doesn't make a lot of difference to the price. The buyer would sooner you took it off altogether than to pay you extra. The AppleCare plan may be worth an extra 60 or 70 euro though.

    According to that site:

    MBP CD 1.83 - 1.5GB - Superdrive - 80Gb - 15" = 1130 (pair 1900)
    PowerMac Dual G5 2GHz - 1.5GB - 2x160GB - Superdrive = 1100 (paid 1600 ;) )
    PowerBook 17" 1GHz - 1GB - 60GB - Superdrive = 850 (paid 500)
    PowerMac Dual G4 450MHz - 512MB - 60GB - Superdrive = 380 (paid 0)
    Cube G4 500MHz - 512MB - 30GB - DVD = 200 (paid 0)

    Break even almost :D

I'll let that go as a friendly offer, but remember adverts.ie hehe!

If I were you, I'd have a look at Apple's refurb site. They usually have a load of MB and MBP pros, a lot with similar to your spec. I wouldn't expect much for iWork, but APP is a big selling point.
