Het folks, got a query on a mobo i'm buying. It has a 24 pin power connector but my power supply has a 20 pin plug coming from it. So do i have to get a new power supply? or can i just use the 20 pin one in the 24 pin slot? a friend did just that in an old system and it seemed to work ok. Am i running the risk of damaging the system doing this?

Also these are the links to the mobo's i'm thinking of

Which of these has better on board graphics/features

Yes you can use the 20pin PSU in a 24pin motherboard no problem they are backwards compatbile.

No major difference between the two but I'd lean towards the Gigabyte GA-MA69VM-S2 for €62 as the integrated graphics are slightly better & AMD have better driver support.
