I want to sell some CDJ decks like this that I just bought but no longer need. I want to put them on ebay - at a fixed price buy it now price. I'm wondering if there is any difference in selling it through Ireland or UK - Euro or Sterling. Will it still appear on each site the same or is there any difference?

I'd perfer to sell in Ireland but can sent to UK too, but want exposure to both.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

One of the advantages of selling on the UK site is that they have low cost listing offers way more often than on the .ie site.

Apart from that, I'm not sure there is any difference - it's very important, though, to make sure you explicitly put the UK as a shipping detination and provide a shipping cost to the uk.

I find that when buying stuff, very often you find stuff on the uk website that isn't on the .ie site, just because they haven't specified that they will ship out of the uk... but when you ask, 99 times out of 100, you will be given a shipping price to Ireland if you ask.

I've found a few things on ebay.ie that have gone very low price because they haven't been listed on the uk site, this must be as di11on explained, people not adding the option or postal details for the uk.

The one or two things I've listed, I've used the uk site, just because I wanted to be sure it was listed on the uk site

edit: you want to check how the currancy conversion is handled by paypal, so if you want to receive euros you don't end up paying to much extra exchange charges. if you sell on the irish site, maybe the buyer pays the exchange charge?

Think there are settings in your paypal profile that specify what currencies you will accept.

    Hi

You will get more money if you list in co.uk as you will have more buyers, but will be in sterling but make sure that you have a reserve price.

Also pack the item and weight it before you start the listing, after check the prices for postage and include them in the listing, if they are over 2kg weight postage won't be cheap.

    Best of luck.

    Hi

the reason why you do not see it is because under "Post to" you have only Ireland, you need to have UK listed there.

Also if you are not going to offer Free postage for the UK you need to include the postage cost for UK.

    Regards

just reedit/update yr sales page, so that the uk is included in the dispatch drop down menu, and don't forget to include a price for P&P.

AFAIK, all you have to do is log in via ebay.co.uk instead. Though I'm open to correction.
