    Anyone know where the best place to get a cheap flash drive is? I am looking for 2gb or 4gb, dont mind if its on the net or in town somewhere near grafton st preferably!

    doubt there's anywhere too cheap in town.

    cheapest I have found online is www.7dayshop.com got soem 2gb flash drives there and some 4gb sd cards with usb card readers (a nice cheap alternative if you're not fussy about speed).

    Delivery is prompt and not over the top expensive. Prices usually include vat.

    I use memoryc.com myself ... good value and cheapish shipping because they're in Celbridge and really quick delivery too ... you can find cheaper on the net but you could pay higher shipping and risk the VAT man wanting a cut and the shipping will take longer.

    Thats my take on it anyway ...

    I think it's Aldi that are offering 4GB PNY drives for €19.99. I bought one in PC World at Christmas and was very happy with it.

    the ones in tesco are pretty cheap if you want to just go get one straight away. think busy bee or something like that is the make. i have one nearly 2years with no probs.
