Steering 'offline'

    Y'ello,

Looking for a bit of help - I was driving in the wet on sunday & aquaplaned into a kerb  The front left tyre was damaged, as was the rim itself (hub caps only, no alloys). I noticed the steering was a bit 'off' but I put this down to the skinny spare tyre I had on. I put a new rim & tyre on today & the steering is still screwed. To go straight I have to turn the wheel 5-10 degrees to the left. Also when I lock the wheel turning right its rubbing against either the wheel arch or the suspension (not knowing much about cars I dont know which). Any suggestions what I did & what I need to do to sort (& how much?!?)

    Ta

You need to get it to a mechanic - you've damaged part of the suspension. Without seeing it, i'm afraid nobody could give you even a guess at how much it may cost. Don't drive it in the meantime.
