    Hi Des,

    Will you be adding in the 150 / 300; 500 / 1000; and 2500 / 5000 levels?

    Thanks in advance,

    Lloyd.

    Hi Lloyd,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The same levels will be in operation as in previous tournaments. Again the thinking is, we don't want these guys in the casino at 4am - when they could be in the bar :)

Hope to see you at an APAT again soon.

    Cheers,

    Des.

Not a very nice answer to a genuine question. Sometimes smugness bites you in the rear end.

I can assure you there was no smug intentions in my answer. Lloyd has been to APAT events previously and I would be very surprised if he took my answer in any way other than as it was intended. Obviously, this is not the first conversation on this topic that Lloyd and I have had.

Yeah, absolutely no offense taken. We have talked previously - and seen as Connie didn't know that I can see how he may have taken the wrong impression.

Des and I disagree with regards to the structure. The ante structure in place at the moment is a replica of the old Pokerstars layout for their regular tournaments. Even stars changed their standard structure to incorporate the levels I speak of after they received significant critiscism on 2 + 2.

That said, these APAT events still represent excellent value for money - and I will be in attendance at least once during next season. My comments are only intended as feedback from the perspective of someone who has to organise travel and accomodation toget to the events (i.e. If I am going to them I intend to take them seriously as a satellite to a bigger live event - I'm not heading over purely for the craic). And the APAT will surely be receiving feedback from various sources with different mindsets before the start of next season.

I would further suggest that the buy - in for the final event should have been increaded a smidgeon (as per the online event). And, with specific regards to the Grand final on stars, the structure of that tournament should have been extended to reflect the increase of buy - in (20 min + levels).

Anyway, I am always harping on looking for better structures. And I may very well be in the majority as far as the customer base of the APAT is concerned.

Best of luck with the Luton event Des.
