Is this "normal"

I'm a tad bit confussed at the moment and wondering if anyone can maybe give me a little light.
Im 19, and i have no friends. I used to have some very close friends, but after the death of a friend, i went a little introverted. I started doing things more impulsively, and my friends then drifted from me due to my actions. I now have no friends. But the thing that i worry about, is the way i prefere it that way. I dont like the word "normal" but i really dont think my complete preference for being alone is normal. I recently went traveling alone, and im going again in a week or two. I sometimes go randomly to different parts of the country for a day or two, just for a change. See if im missing out on anything thats to be seen. I've completed one year of college but i'm not going back for a second, as I'm not in the mood, and therefore i know i wouldnt work.
I'm a very foward person, and i love talking to new people, yet i have no set friends. Guarenteed if i go out, ill find someone to hang out with, and more then likely a guy to go home with. I also have never had a boyfriend, as I'll feel tied down. I do have guys in different places that i can go and see if i want, but nothing set in stone.
My life at home is very free, in that i can do as i please without explanation. We are by no means a close family.
As much as I'm comfortable with my style of life, because I have so much thinking time, i can't help but compare myself to others my age, and ponder at the gap. Any thoughts?

its not "normal" but there is nothing wrong with it

dropping out of college cause your "not in the mood" is a bad idea and pretty immature tbh

you will probably get bored of meaningless relationships with guys eventually but until that happens enjoy it.

If you are contented with your life and how you live it, then what you are doing is fine. Simply dont compare yourself to anyone else.

But if you feel your life is lacking in some way, then there may be something you might like to change. The tone of your post sounds like someone who is quite low. Comments like 'not being in the mood' for college, seem to me someone very disenchanted with life. Maybe Im reading too much into it, but your words say one thing, your tone in general says something else to me.

I dont know you, Im only getting an impression from one post. If you feel upbeat then you most likely are. :)

I know from experience that it is possible to be depressed and not know it. Maybe you have never dealt properly with your friends death, but then again I am only summising from what you have said in your original post. Have you ever gone to someone to talk about how you feel?
