If i was you Stephen I would have a countdown clock that clearly gives the last date that you are willing to do this. I know that in the last 24 hours you will be inundated with moaners telling you how unfair you are.

(Sure you don't want to hire 'Dodgy Des' Motors ltd to deal with the PR side? I'll tell'em to CLEAR OFF!)

    There really is a clock.

since we need lists out from the system for players nick and fully name and that isnt a joke from Boss, lool, first time ever for them i figure so i think we did say 1 of october so we got a week to work with.

and if we didint say it lets say it NOW!

and people have to learn to respect that. Or stephen will go under, and we dont want that.

delighted to hear of this development. now i will try and round up the computer illiterate bunch down this end of the country.

    Sounds good MrFlash..

I really hope those of you who are good in computers bring your lap with you and help out for those who are a little less familiar with it. Very much appreciated for the sake of IPO.

one thing i want to say though: lets say someone are in a club and helping a few out to create an account, THERE might be a block for you to help more then 5 on same IP adress. Its spam security from boss. Am alerting it now so there will not be a lot of hard words if it happens.

If anything at all, plese let me know, am on my MSN most of the times even if it says offline so just buzz me if there is any sign up problmes, if am there i answer you instantly. c4poker@hotmail.com

    Enjoy your saturday!

    Idea...........

Maybe you start holding sats on mermaid for this tourny..might increase the numbers...

Maybe also a sat that includes accommodation?

    What you think.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 601 ✭✭✭C4Queen

If you been following the discussion you would se there always been said sats will run after the welcome tourney. Its already planed.

    First will run next wendsday.

There will run a sat for 20$+2$ every wendsday at 20.00 Irish time and for each 205$ in the rpicepool there will be a seat generated.

would it be possible to run international sats, i.e. flights and accomodation. flights from continent to ireland, max 200, buy in, 150, 3 nights accomodation say 300, so a 650 package, about $900 dollars?

im sure there are hundreds of players on boss who would like to effectively win a 3 day holiday to ireland. $30 fo, every 30 players gets a 900dollar package.. ideal for getting lower stakes european players the chance to win a poker based trip.

i know i look at $100+ sats online for 5k buy in events and am not bothered, but i;d happily play a $30 dollar freeze out sat to a 100 buy in game in spain or something, 3 day trip for 30 dollars.. yes please!! i think ud get alot of support for it anyway.

Every Wednesday at 20.00 Irish times, starting off August 15 there will be possibilities to play satellites to International Poker Open at Mermaidpoker.

One seat for each 205$ in the price pool and buy in are 20+2$
Remaining funds in the tourney not making up to a seat are given to “bubble boy”.

From September 17 to 30 we run satellites Monday, Wednesday and Sunday.

    Registration in the multitablelobby.

    Good luck!

I just realised that the website I am buying paysafecard from are planning on charging me 6% on every transaction.

I'm trying to work something out so bare with me but anyone looking to lodge money will have to deposit €6 additional to every €100.

    Watch this space.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,317 ✭✭✭The Clamper

now thats taking the proverbial mick

6% is downright extortion, i would have only charged you 5.75%

    d o i hear 5.5% anyone??

    any takers???

Hey, if you don't get around that 6% thing, could I just get somebody else with an account to transfer me 150 quatloos to an account and skip any lodging process entirely?
This wouldn't be a problem when I am eventually withdrawing my inevitable big paycheck from THE INTERNATIONAL POKER OPEN, WHICH TAKES PLACE ON OCT 6TH AND 7TH IN THE RDS AND JACKPOT CASINO CLUB (€100,000 Guaranteed subject to 700 players for a €150 buy-in) would it?
    ;-)

ok, here we go again lads.
I say for the 100 times, but thats ok, np at all. :)

NO if you never deposit anything to your account its 100% IMPOSSIBLE to withdraw any money from it. Quite simple, its a security block.

NO we dont have inter account transfer. there is no possible way another player can do a transfer for you inside the room.

Moneybokker takes Laser. We accept Moneybooker.

We take paysafecards, unfortunally they are not sold in Ireland witch is without our reach, and am still and aslo stephen fighting them to sort this but its nothing you can count on. As for now the closest place to Ireland to find them are UK

    kind regards
    Anna

    Hi all,

We're going to be organising ourselves to get out and about to every single card room/decent poker tourney over the next few weeks.

The plan is to take cash from players that don't have the first clue about computers or interweb and to help out anyone that might not want to use their credit card/laser card online.

    The first date is booked.

Cool Hand Luke's (*have to stop calling it the Fitz*) - Sept 15th from 5pm til 6pm.....One hour before the first €300 game.

I'll be talking to Duke to organise to be in the Jackpot for one of their bigger tournaments and I will be contacting every casino myself (any help/suggestions you can give are welcome)....Need to find out the best time to call to each club.
