OK lads.

I'd like to see as many faces as possible there on Saturday evening. There's a few playing in that Charity thing in UCD, so we'll head in after that, if anyone who can't play in the tournament wants to come, then head in. You know all of our faces anyway, don't be shy.

It'll be nice to meet up without the pressure of a game or even a sight of a football, and even give us the chance to get to know each other outside of the context of the team.

The League season is finished, we could be celebrating another cup win, and the first birthday of the team is coming up too, all decent excuses for a pint or two.

See yiz there lads, we might even see Jules up rapping!:D

It's a year in and if we're gonna move towards being a proper football team players need to get to know each other. If you don't drink you can still show up, and if you do then show up and get locked and blab on about how you're just misunderstood as a player.

I'll see how the cold is after the match tomorrow before I say yes or no to this. Working all Saturday as well so iI'll probably pass. Plus Alex ferguson once told me that socialising with your team mates was a bad idea as you'll show signs of weakness that won't allow you to be as effective a leader on the pitch. Well maybe he told Roy Keane that rather than me, I'm fuzzy on the details

Right so, I'll be driving but might be around for a while after the games, but since barely anyones heading in I'm not gonna spend last night with the missus before I head off to Seattle for 2 weeks work in messrs with potentially crazy people I don't know. You gotta remember - they did give us Des after all
