I love the idea but hate the way they pay out 3rd place and lower the starting stack, so I've stayed away from them until now, but I've gone on runs of 4 in a row and 6 our of 7 at the $100 level, which makes me think it might be possible, well anything's possible.

Has anyone ever won this jackpot? i.e. won 6 in a row?

It's just a gimmick to get more reg fees.

The extra reg is $4 per person.

    The jackpot is $80k

For iPoker to break even they need it to be won no more than 1 time in 20,000. Anything over that is additional profit for them.

This figure (1/20,000) they came up with is probably the odds of the best possible SnG player on the site winning it.

An average player has a 1/46656 chance (6^6).

I would say a competent SnG player has a 1 in 30k chance of winning it.

The runner up jackpot isnt too hard to win.

That's where my $4 rake goes.

i played a load of $50s. standard is abysmal. Best streak was 4 in a row. its almost impossible to not make the money by just playing extremely tight.

The Jackpot is progressive. It was over $200k the last time it was won. GJP take the $9 into account when working out your loyalty bonus.

didn't know it was progressive. If all the extra reg goes back into the jackpot then it's probably +EV due to the bad standard of play.
