Damm I was really hoping EA would nail this and produce a really amazing golf game. It all seems abit half hearted.

Can't click on the link from work. Bad first impressions? Damn it anyway, Tiger has the potential to be a great game for the Wii. I wont make the same mistake again this year in buying this cos 07 was the biggest load of rubbish ive ever bought.

Not sure what the games like on the wii. but for the 360 its terrible. i bought the camera so i could put my face in the game and it was the biggest waste of money ever."no artistic skills necessary" i presumed you could just take your front and side image and that would be it. 07 is way better.

I bought this for the Wii over the weekend and like it alot. Yes it has basic PS2 graphics but the swing system is excellent. It is pretty much a 1:1 swing and make the game far more interesting and challenfing to play.

No didn't get '07 because I heard the swing system was not great. Swing system this time around is like the golf game in Wii Sports i.e. if you start a backswing the club will go back at the same time. Power is determined by how quickly you swing through the ball, so quite like real life. There are 18 courses and they seem to have taken out some/all of the fantasy courses. The K Club is included...

I've played both and they seem to have fixed a lot of the problems they had in '07. Putting is a lot more accurate with a slider bar to help choose your distance. Also it recognises your swing a lot better, no more half through a shot and look up to see it already took the shot for you.

Still is room for improvement but overall it's a lot better than '07.

Maybe ea should stop spending so much money on the ad's/having a tiger Woods endorsement and concentrate onmaking a good game. Same goes for the FIFA games.

I think it plays a lot better than the last one, it certainly looks better.

Sorry for bumping, there's a wii competition on tonight in a pub near me.
Longest drive wins a wii and a big TV.
I've used the wiimote a few times but never played TW before. Do I stand a chance? Any tips?

definately not better than the last one. the swing is way too sensitive and the ingame fx are really annoying. also the putting is way too easy now the way it shows you the exact path the ball will take.wheres the skill?plus i cant see why they cant add the k club, they had it in the pc version last year i believe, it would be great to have it on the 360.
