might seem a bit trivial but anyone have any tips on applying a screen protector.

e.g what's the best/ easiest way to clean the screen of dust etc before applying one.
    thanks.

compressed air (for dust and corners), optical lens cleaning liquid (recommend calotherm - see in pharmacy for screen marks etc), anti static wipes (again calotherm does this..).
cut to size if not custom fit and start at one end only. Peel back only what you need to apply and put in place, then grab a credit card or something and

    1) very slowly, drag it back over protector as you peel backing off, checking for air bubbles (reverse if you get a couple of large ones and start again from scratch as they can't be "ironed out" and usually leave a crease or something)
    or
2)quickly drag the credit card over the screen (better for thicker screen protectors...)
    hope that helps.
