Redzer have you tried playing backs and forwards, but start with the 2 forwards and one back and then keep introducing players maybe introduce two backs so that it then 3 backs on 2 forwards and keep it going like that.

For tackling practice you can try this, put two bags down with about 4 feet between them, then stick a defender between the bags, the defenders job is not to let the forward get between the bags without fouling. This is good for both defenders and forwards as defenders can learn how to make a forward go were they want them to go and also gives the forwards practice and getting around defenders. what you are looking for is for the defender to narrow the angle for the forward, to have the arms out to make it harder for the forward to get around and to force the forward onto their bad foot.

Need anything else let me know. I have a few more drills knocking around somewhere.
