Whats the cheapest package for Sky sports ?

Hi Folks

Whats the mimimum package i can take with Sky to ensure i have the sports channels ?

I have been looking round the sky website and it seems to get the sports i need to take out other entertainment channels

I dont think i can justify taking out an expensive package with sky and also subscribe to Setanta

All i want from sky is the sport channels, nothing else, then i can add my football subscription from Setanta

Any pointers ?

You have to subscribe to a minimum of 2 mixes. If you subscribe to both Sky Sports 1 and 2 your total bill would be €50.50 per month. I see that most if not all of the premier league mathes are on Sky Sports 1 so you could save €9 a month by not subscribing to Sky Sports 2. However, Sky can and do show the occasional match on Sky Sports 2. If you are not bothered about missing the odd game this could be a good option for you. From what I have seen of the Spanish games they could be shown on any of the channels so you would need to subscribe to all of them to cover yourself.

So in summary I reckon that €41.50 for 2 mixes and Sky Sports 1 would get most if not all premier league matches. Setanta is €18 pm extra.

thanks for the reply tonio, much appreciated,will have a read over in the next couple of days and make the mind up, 18 euro for setanta and sky also aint easy on the pocket each month, dont know if i can justify spending so much on subscriptions for tv
