Anybody snagged a copy of this yet ?
Its available from the UK airsoft retailers, but Border's and Eason's dont have it yet. At least not the ones I usually get it from.

I emailed the publisher but they are closed until the 11th.

Easons down here in Limerick has not had it last week or this week,
Wonder whats up. I was keeping my eyes peeled and forcing myself
not to buy it online just for the sake of a magazine.

Ahhh....that explains why my questions regarding stocking it have been ignored. I was also angling for a press release to be published in their news section. I won't give up hope, so :)

    Thanks Hivemind.

It really looks as if one of five things has happened

    1) AI have had a barney with their distributer in Ireland and as such the magazines are being held until such time as the dispute is resolved.

    2) Customs have put a hold on the magazine because it carrys adverts or articles the censor doesnt want seen (Happens all the time but thye usually just tear the page out)

    3) Something has happened at the AI offices of significance and as such they havent been able to meet their commitments to ship to Ireland.

    4) The shipment of magazines suffered water damage and were unsuitable for sale.

edit 5) The Postal strikes have knobbled the export of the magazines to Ireland.

There are other theories but these are the most likely to cause disturbance in the distribution. The publishing offices are closed until the 11th so we are unlikely to hear anything until then.

    Which sucks.

Bizarre magazine has been the one I have seen it happen to twice.

Once for FHM and I have heard of it happening with the likes of nuts and zoo from time to time.

Speaking of airsoft international, I read somewhere that there was a review of the FAL in it a few months ago. Anyone any idea of which ones it was? Better yet, got any scans of it?

there is a review of the new Star FNC this month. I'll take a look for others when I get home. I do remember something about a King Arms FAL being mentioned in one somewhere.

Star are coming out with the British L1A1 version of the FAL soon. If anyone wants to buy it so I can make a comparison with my one, feel free :)

Be great if you had that review. Actually, I really have to start buying that magazine. Although, I doubt anyone wants more competition over the 1 copy Eason get.

Is there any other Airsoft Magazines for sale in Ireland?

AI, dad got in Easons O'Connell Street. Said there were multiple copies:D

VFC AK looks nice but a tad pricet (£330).

So you're the other person who gets it in Limerick. Regular as clockwork, Limerick Easons get 10 in about 2 weeks late, then a few days later, and until the next issue comes out, there's 7 left.

Picked it up this morning. Its only my 2nd time
ever buying it. I want those Black .20 BB's or even
the olive green ones that I saw advertised.

Blue bbs seem to do the same thing. BFSL sell them. You can't see them coming out at all. Plus they're a little heavier at .23g. The added weight Nice for getting through foliage.

other than the obvious differance in weight i.e. .2 and .23 or heavier, can all aeg use heavier bb's? and if so whats the differance in proformance?

The output power is always going to be the same. So the heavier the bb, the lower the range you're going to get. The advantage of them being higher accuracy though.

.23g is a really nice compromise between .20g and .25g. I like them so I does.
