[REQ] Cheap desktop printer

    Just as the title above says i am looking for a cheap desktop printer, have had an epson for the last 3 printers so would like another.

    If you know of anyone buying a Dell you could get them to order one with their order and you could buy it off them. As little as €50 extra. However the ink for these do tend to cost more than the printer itself.

    Aldi had a lexmark 3 in 1 (print, copy, scan) in stock yesterday for €40. I picked one up, seems to be fine quality and speed wise.

    Canon Pixma iP2500 is a good printer, €46.80 (not incl. shipping). There are those uber basic Dell printers (just a printer, not multi function) for €28.74 (incl. VAT+delivery), it is the Dell Colour Printer 725.

    Just remember when going for a Dell .. Dell is the only place you can by the ink too.

    there is no way i would go for a Dell printer.

    I am looking for a printer that is not only cheap but there is spurious ink available for it cheap as well. That cannon does not seem to have spurious ink cartridges available for it.

    Anyone know the model number to the one in aldi or know of any other good deals???

    The current Argos mini magazine of pf special offers has a fantastic big Canon 4 in 1 machine at half price. Its also a photo printer.

    Was 140 quid now its €70

    The argos one is a canon mp460. Bought it last week and very happy with it.

    Tesco are currently selling an Epson printer/scanner for €39.99 (Epson Stylus DX4000), also a Canon Pixma iP1300 for €35.99
