mushrooms and the like

hi I was in Avondale house and gardens with the kids the weekend and while on the exotic tree walk we had a mushroom hunt which had the kids spellbound. Does anyone know of any other forests in the Dublin/wicklow area which would have an abundance of mushrooms/fungi growing around now. just to add we are not after…
