I am downloading a torrent at the moment and one of the parts is now at 100% but not going to done. The file is 0kb too. Is there some way of resetiing it to try again or something else I can do?

Pause it and check the folder it downloaded to...

I have even restarted my machine and resumed but the file is still zero and BT thinks it is 100%.

has BT ever done this on you before? i'd suggest using uTorrent......sometimes its best just to wait it out. it could be a fault where even though it says its at 100% it could take longer (i've had this happen to me in numerous applications!)

once its not coming up as "not responding" in Task Manager!

100% on a torrent does not necessarily mean finished. It just means more than 99.9%. There may be a 1 or 2 kb file missing (possibly an .nfo file that was in the original torrent but has been removed by the current seeder). Is your seeder the original upper? If not, you may need to wait til someone who has not messed about with the contents of the torrent comes along to seed.

This happens a lot with people who reseed but have deleted part of the file before doing so.

usually there are small nfo files in illegal torrent downloads which contain information on how to crack/hack/view the illegal content. They will usually read as 0Kb. Try and open the file with notepad.

    can you say "thread closed"

I fail to see how, the op hasn't posted anything to suggest the contents of what their downloading is legal or illegal, :)
