I think it's part of the future of cricket, as it's a good game that brings the crowds and makes money.

However, test cricket is the pinnacle for me, and that won't change. ODI cricket is becoming bloated by sheer number of games, driven mainly by the Indian TV market.

Test Cricket is the pure form of the game - Right until the end of play any result is possible - sometimes with the weather forcing the hand.

The ODIs are now the half way house with results rarely being in much doubt - especially at the world cup, Ireland v Zimbabwae the exception.

20/20 is pure skill, brut force and loads of luck! Highly entertaining and with no balls included, even 20 off the last over is achievable! I've seen plenty of Yorkers going for 4s.

It's a shame Ireland aren't at this competetion as I feel that the playing field is more on a level for all concerned - we would have a good chance, I reckon!
