Only problem I would see with this is the way the stick protrudes from the unit at the front. I would imagine it could be easily broken (or even the input socket).

You might be better off with something like this that will play MP3 CDs.

For my sins, a few years back I used to work in tech support for the poor people who bought electronics in Lidl that didnt work. Their laptops are fine, TVs are ok, DVD players / recorders pretty bad, and their car stereos are god f***ing awful.

For 60euro what do ya expect? I was getting it for a boat. A wet, damp place where a stereo could blow at any time, hence not wanting to spend a fortune.

I've had a cheapo stereo in there all summer and works like a dream. Also have an amp and 2 big dirty JBL speakers, the noise is nice :)

I bought one about a year ago, absolutely nothing wrong with them. Piece of piss to fit. The one I got had a usb connector lead to run from the front of the stereo, and you can put your memo stick somewhere else. and the one I got also plays mp3 cd's.

I had that one too and sold it cause I didn't need it. TBH it suited me better if I could plug the USB stick straight into the stereo. Aldi were doing one not so long ago but I didnt wake up in time
