Hi - I started a thread here a month ago - Lipotrim or Get Real - and got loads of really helpful advice. Well, as i said in that thread - i ultimately decided to get real!! I had 10 stone to lose and I have lost 1.5 in the last month - with very little effort!
I have started eating breakfast - new concept, drinking water - another newish concept, and generally avoiding rubbish! I have one day a week where i have a treat - generally a curry with boiled rice - and i really don't miss the rubbish! Actually was at a friends house the other day and she had choc cake - which i would have killed for before and it really didn't interest me - think i have lost my taste for chocolate!!! :D
Also - my dog is getting fitter too cos i keep dragging her out for walks!

I think i need to step it up a notch though - thinking of increasing my walks (do about half an hour a night at the moment) and then in another few weeks go the gym route. In the meantime I am going to start swimming - just cos i miss it!
Also - i need to organise my food a bit better - i try to make good food choices - but not sure if i am getting all the correct nutrients etc!! I have very low iron levels so i need to be taking care of those!! So - should i keep a diary and go from there (i had started one but kept leaving it at work/in the car etc) - or is it advisable to just do up a plan and follow that - or have people found that too rigid?

Well done with getting real :D
It's addictive once you get into it, eh?!

    congrats so far,

Just one or two things. One instead of just increasing your walk lenghts, try and do some resistance training, so things like body weight squats, pressups, lunges, dips, sit ups, burpees. As this will help maintain your lean body mass if not increase it, thus as such increasing your metabolism and making weight loss that slight bit easier.

Also in relation to the journal, ye I would say it maybe handy to keep one for a while you could also try fitday.com to help track your diet
